51 Breaks were together for 7 years before they recorded their first album, There had been self-released EPs and singles, but the album never came. With a solid gig history behind them, and a established and loyal fanbase built, they finally laid down the tracks in the summer of 2011, and the album, entitled ‘The Man I Used To Know’ will be released some time in 2012.
Hailing from Birmingham in England, the band’s signature style is infectious indie rock with flavour of the 80s. It sits comfortably alongside rock bands, such as the Foo Fighters and Linkin Park whilst still having the pop element of The Killers or The Strokes.
ChileVibe will be working with 51 Breaks this year raise awareness of their music in Chile, and help them gain fans over here. Look out for a digital release in the new year.
